Getting comments on my blog is one of my greatest pleasures, but it's even better when a new unknown commenter has their own blog of interest.  (Which actually happens more often than not, since bloggers find each other based on shared interests anyhow.  Yay blogging!)

La Lohan

Last May I called La Lohan out for being aggressively annoying based on her stick-like appearance on SNL.  Here's the photo I posted.

This is probably all over the internets by now, but I read on my new friend Aaron Parsley's LiveJournal that Lindsay's about to spill the beans about bulimia and drug use in a forthcoming Vanity Fair cover story. 

Read Aaron's preview of the story on Teen People online.  In it, he quotes:

Lohan became so thin that a Saturday Night Live producer held an intervention following the actress's appearance on the show. "I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem, and I couldn't admit it," Lohan says. "I saw that SNL after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms."

No kidding!  I'm glad she's finally acknowledging that this was not normal.

January live shows = depressing

There are not that many good live shows in SF this month, mainly because January is still a slow month for tours.

But for some reason, Thursday January 26th is a train wreck of good shows, forcing me to make some unfortunate decisions, and I don't like to choose, people!!!

Which would you pick?

• Sound Team @ Bottom of the Hill
• Willie Nelson @ The Fillmore

At least Willie is playing for four shows that week, so I can try to get tickets for another night.
